Now that the first Maths GCSE paper is finished we’ve got some time to breathe before paper 2, which means  that tomorrow when you go into work you’ll have time to do something proactive … so why not book your ticket to join us (and 250 other maths teachers) for the second JustMaths conference at Alton Towers Conference Centre on Monday 25th June?

In the same fashion as last year there will also be lots of surprises during the day too … Seagers been sending me photos of his goodies that he’s been sourcing for months now … I have to say that the delegate bags are looking ace!

However there is a serious point to the day too …

This year’s line-up includes: Jo Morgan (of Resourceaholic fame), Craig Barton (does “Mr TESMaths” even need an introduction?), Pietro Tozzi, Ofqual and of course some other people called Melanie Muldowney and Christian Seager will be doing a turn this year too (our claim to fame is that we are two thirds of JustMaths and part of the team that previously worked at the “most improved school in England” and then moved school together where the department won TES Maths team of the year a couple of years ago. The first years results for the new GCSE last Summer resulted in a P8 score of 0.8 something! Not bad eh!) … oh … there will also be keynotes from AQA, Pearson and OCR.

So get “book tickets to the JM Conference” on your to do list tomorrow!! No seriously, you don’t want to miss this one! The booking form can be found here->  Booking Form 2018.

Hoping to see you there!
