Have I told you that this is MY BLOG? I thought I’d just say it before I take a deep breath and say the next bit … **paper bag close at hand just in case I hyperventilate**

Next week I will be letting Simon Singh (I KNOW!!!) loose on the blog for a special guest appearance. His book “The Simpsons and their Mathematical Secrets” is one that I’ve dipped in and out of since Seager came back with a copy for me from Mathspeak last year (before that the best thing I’d ever gotten was a flippin’ pen!) and I find myself going back to it time and time again. I also love the fact that my husband has read parts of it and was suitably impressed with the readability of it and it’s very rare that we like the same books.

How excited am I???
