Just a quick update about the GCSE debacle. I am not letting this lie! I know I’m a stubborn sod but this is not about ego, it’s about making the right decision and to reuse a quote I’ve used in one of my letters: “In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing” (Theodore Roosevelt).

I wrote to Nick Gibb on the 9th March (if you have the time to read the VERY long letter I wrote – >HERE IT IS ) and received the below response from his office referring me to Ofsted, which is basically fobbing me off …

Well this isn’t good enough for me and I suspect that they have missed the point so I have today written a very short and sweet letter asking Nick to explicitly confirm that he has received the reassurances he required.
