Now that the first Maths GCSE paper is finished we’ve got some time to breathe before paper 2, which means that today is as good a time as any, to do something proactive, so why not book your ticket to join us (and 250 other maths teachers) for the second JustMaths conference at Alton Towers Conference Centre on Monday 25th June?
This year’s line-up includes: Jo Morgan (of Resourceaholic fame), Craig Barton (does “Mr TESMaths” even need an introduction?), Pietro Tozzi, Ofqual and of course, Mel Muldowney and Christian Seager (two thirds of JustMaths and part of the team that won TES Maths team of the year).
During the day some of the sessions will look specifically at:
Wonderful worked examples and idyllic intelligent practice
The new topics to GCSE (9-1) that have been added from AS Pure Maths such as ‘Solving equations by iteration’, ‘Quadratic Inequalities’ and ‘Exact Trig Values’.
Resources for September – A tour of some of the latest GCSE ideas and resources.
Intervention ideas to support the 3/4/5 borderline students.
And of course, lots of surprises along the way!
Tickets are strictly limited on a “first come first served” basis
Don’t miss out and get the booking form at www.justmaths.co.uk/conference
Hoping to see you there!
Christian, Mel and Fize
