I’ve put together the usual results plus QLA (question level analysis) sheets for the Edexcel 1MA01 June 2016 papers. As usual I have also attached instructions for how to get your download data into them and produce sheets for each student. There are two versions one where you can just produce sheets for specific students and the other with some funky macros that Paul Pavlou wrote that allows you to produce (& print) sheets for all students.

I’ve done some additional analysis with our cohort data and produced a sheet for the average marks for the entire cohort by adding in an extra “student” at the end of the student data on both the calculator and non calculator sheets and then used “= average”. I sent it to Seager and knowing what the next question would be I also then produced one for just our super group which involved identifying each student and summing their marks to find the average for each question (about 10 mins work!) and sent it to him just as his email to me asking the question arrived in my inbox. This is interesting (it shows an average mark of 82.45/200 from a group that had an average mark of 26/200 in November with a lowest score of 9!) looking towards the new GCSE as we have effectively taught this group the Big Fat 50 and managed to include some of the new topics that we’re adding to JustMaths Online making up the Super60 which goes live on the 4th September! Definitely food for thought when we have to make the “cut-off” decision for Higher and Foundation tiers.
Anyway hope they are of some use.
PS: – All will be in the extras tab on JustMathsOnline too later for future use.
