We have been overwhelmed with the response and thank you to everyone that emailed/tweeted/commented or liked our Facebook page. Humbled doesn’t even come close!

It’s Friday night and the JustMaths team are sat in a pub for our regular meeting (drinking diet coke and orange juices – not in the same glass – working we must add!) and Mel thinks we are doing some changes to the website when in fact we are writing this post. So shhhhh! Not a word! She will soon figure out something is afoot!

Just Maths Super 60 FinalNext weekend we unleash the Super 60. JustMaths online originally came about because we wanted to create a set of resources around key topics – the main thing we have learnt over the years is that students need a highly focused, carefully targeting support package … giving them 200 video clips just doesn’t work! It was originally based around “The Top 40” and with the positive response from both teachers and students it exploded! The increased content of the new GCSE meant we felt the need to expand it into the Big Fat 50 …. and now the next step is the “Super 60” and to support our colleagues in post-16 we’ll also have the “Resit 60″specifically for the legacy specification sittings in Nov 2016 and June 2017. 

Anyway the point of this post it is to mark the occasion of the launch of the Super 60 … we’re giving away 3 annual school subscriptions (if you already have access you’ll get your next year’s subscription free of charge!). All you need to do to enter the competition is to either:

  • leave a comment below with your name OR
  • RT any of Mel’s tweets publishing the competition (she’ll be shamed into tweeting about it now) OR
  • Like our facebook page OR
  • Email Mel with your name (mel@justmaths.co.uk) .. we know how she loves emails!

Mel will set up a swanky spreadsheet set up and has been joking about needing a big hat that all the names will go into and we’ll announce the winners on the evening of Sunday 11th September!

  12. I have been looking at your resources today and I am really impressed, already emailed myself about 7 links to use this year. I am in charge of ks4 (year 9 and 10) at little lever in Bolton, once I get back on Monday I am gearing myself up to convince my hod to subscribe!   13. Does a comment at 2am have more weight? I totally LOVE Just Maths, I always have, and enjoy sharing your information with my department. We are currently ‘record breaking’ having smashed. 75% A*-C after 3 years declining to early 60s. But, with thanks for ideas etc to you guys we nailed this year. You are inspirational! Would really appreciate a full subscription.

  23. I would love to win a years subscription for my school. I badgered SLT last year to invest in this resource and it has proved invaluable. We managed to get 82% this year which we are made up with and I feel the super 60 could help us better this figure in what will be a tough year with all the changes.

I enjoy reading your blogs and as a Head of Maths who has just crushed my toe last week having also fallen on holidays in Portugal and endured a hairline fracture in the same foot, living with MS, and now off for 6-8 weeks recovery I will be mapping your resources to my SOWs by hyperlinks and hopefully set up a subscription on my return to work.
